Summary
As the Quality Inspector for our Waste-To-Energy projects, you will have a vital role in our company. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our supply chain effectively supports our projects by guaranteeing the quality of equipment and materials required for construction. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with all necessary documentation.
Your colleagues across departments, including the engineering and procurement departments, will depend on your expertise in Quality Control to attain the operational excellence they strive for. Your valuable contribution in driving impactful change will be crucial in supporting our pursuit of operational excellence on a daily basis.
About this position
As a Quality Inspector, you will report directly to the Quality Control Manager. You will be an integral part of a team consisting of four colleagues, located at the crossroads of the engineering department, subcontractors, and various external stakeholders. Your role as a Quality Inspector will require strong communication and teamwork skills to maintain productive relationships and ensure the smooth execution of our operations.

This is what you will do

Monitor the quality control and expediting of all mechanical components for selected orders

Conduct interim and final inspections to ensure compliance with technical specifications

Assess the feasibility of agreed-upon delivery deadlines through interim inspections

Prepare quality reports and final acceptance reports, providing feedback to the Manager of Quality Control and Project Managers

Propose improvements to address identified deficiencies

Actively participate in ongoing research and development of current and new technologies, concepts, and applications

Verify the feasibility of execution through technical drawing checks
Skills and abilities
Must Haves

Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time

Keen attention to detail with the ability to ask and answer critical questions

Proficient in delving deep into project technical details for an energy plant installation

Strong communication skills and adept at negotiation

Previous work experience in the EU region is an absolute must

Education and Experience

Holds a master’s degree or bachelor’s degree (or equivalent by experience) in one of the following fields:

Possess a minimum of 2 years or more of relevant work experience in a similar role.
